"I had the pleasure of working with Ray in 2020 on the important task of promoting census participation in Central Texas among persons at risk of being undercounted. Ray was in charge of conducting community outreach in Williamson County - an area experiencing rapid growth among diverse populations. From the moment Ray came on board, he quickly earned people’s trust, making others feel welcomed. Ray is an inclusive leader who has a gift of bringing people together while working towards a common vision. He nurtures leadership and capacity in the community.
